Since 2008, Ateja factories are powered by natural gas and thereby reducing 32% CO2 emission compared to those with diesel-fueled factories.
Utilising state-of-the-art technology with modernised machinery and continuous improvement, Ateja is able to save 18% of its energy consumption monthly.
Ateja has also applied special techniques in our dyeing process and together with solution dyed technology, we reduce the usage of water by up to 730.141 liters per day since 2010.
Since 2012, Ateja has also planted 100.000 trees in the neighbourhood.

Our Green Product Development
Phase 1 – Recycle | Quarter 1, 2023
As proof of our commitment to strive for environmental sustainability by reducing the pollution to the minimum level and efficiently utilize the limited natural resources, we introduce fabrics made using recycled yarns.
Our product is fabricated with recycled polyester yarn. This means that for every square meter of our product you use, you have helped to recycle up to 7 PET bottles of 1.5 liters.
Our recycled yarns are made from recycled PET bottles. By using recycled yarns, we are reusing plastics which would otherwise need hundreds of years for decomposition.
Phase 2 – Biodegradable | Quarter 1, 2023
Protect the earth. Use biodegradable fabric
It can take more than 1.000 years for plastic bottles to decompose. Can you imagine how our world will be in 10-20 years from now with the release of 269.000 tons of plastic waste to the environment every day? Our technology and innovation can enhance the biodegradable process to within a few years time when buried in landfills.
We use special organic compound to attract microbes which enhances the biodegradation process. This process also richen the soil during the process which can then be used for agriculture.

Why should you choose unrecyclable fabrics when you have a choice for a recyclable one?
We use special compound to make it easy to be recycled. Simpler process also means using less energy for the recycle process. By using recyclable fabrics, you are helping the world no to produce new plastics which is harming the earth day by day.
Our unused fabric amazingly turns into a bottle of hope, for a better earth-living.
Phase 4 – Recyclable, Biodegradable | Quarter 4, 2023
Protect & save our mother earth
In this phase, we combine the two features, namely Recyclable and Biodegradable which are believed to make Reduce, Reuse, Recycle more than just a requirement. We live the slogan as a mandatory movement that saves the world and all living things in it.
By using our recyclable fabrics, you turn the fabric that has finished its life cycle into something useful, such as an example of a drinking bottle. The special organic compounds contained in the initial form enhances the biodegradation process which ensures one thing: Everything that ends up in the landfill will decompose completely within a certain time
